Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Leasure Digital ("we", "us") about the Beam software for Windows and this website. By buying, downloading or using Beam, you agree to them.

1. Your license

When you buy Beam, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on up to two computers that you own or control. Your license key is tied to the email address you paid with. Please do not share your key or your download page.

You may not resell, rent or sublicense Beam, or remove its license check, except where the open-source licenses described in section 4 give you that right for the parts they cover.

2. Payment and refunds

Beam is a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. If Beam does not work for you, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund. After a refund, your license ends and you agree to uninstall Beam.

3. Updates and support

We may release updates that fix problems or add features. Updates for the version you bought are included. We offer support by email on a best-effort basis at support.

4. Open-source components

Beam includes free and open-source software, including UxPlay (GNU General Public License v3) and GStreamer and FFmpeg libraries (GNU LGPL and GPL). Those components are covered by their own licenses, not by these terms, and you keep every right those licenses give you. The license texts, a list of components and the source code of our modified UxPlay are installed with Beam in its "licenses" and "source" folders.

5. Acceptable use

Only mirror devices and content you have the right to show. You are responsible for what you capture, stream or record with Beam, including other people's content and any app or service rules that apply to it.

6. Trademarks

iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Beam is an independent product. It is not made, affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or Microsoft.

7. No warranty

Beam is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will be error-free, work with every device or network, or be fit for a particular purpose. Mirroring depends on your phone, your computer and your Wi-Fi, which we do not control.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim about Beam is limited to the amount you paid for it.

9. Ending the license

Your license lasts until you or we end it. It ends automatically if you break these terms or receive a refund. When it ends, uninstall Beam.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the terms in place when you bought still apply to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
